By placing an order with Furniture Divas, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions as set out below. None of these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights.




  1. “You” and “your” refer to the person who has agreed to buy goods from us.

  2. “We”, “our” and “us” refer to Furniture Divas, our employees and agents.


All furniture and accessories are sold as single items and are not sold as part of a set or suite unless otherwise stated. On completing your order, we will send you an email confirming your purchase. Please check the details carefully. This website is UK-based and those who choose to access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws where they are applicable. Any contract will be communicated in English.




Payment for furniture

Where applicable, all prices include VAT at the current applicable rate. Full payment for furniture is required prior to delivery. Payments can be made on-line using most major credit and debit cards (using the PayPal payment service) or by PayPal account. Alternatively, you can pay by credit or debit card over the phone. To protect your security and to prevent credit card fraud where possible, we reserve the right for proof of identity on all purchases. As well as credit or debit cards, payment will be accepted by cheque or bankers’ draft. Funds must be cleared in full before our delivery agents will arrange delivery with you.


Handling and delivery charges are included in all prices quoted for furniture and apply to mainland UK addresses only and are based on weekday delivery.  Shipping outside of these times or outside of mainland UK is by arrangement only and may incur additional charge.


Delivery of furniture

Where you are buying from our existing stock, we aim to deliver to you within 7 days of order.  If any item is out of stock we will make this clear on the website as soon as possible. If this takes place after you have placed your order, you will be informed as soon as possible of when it will next be in stock. If you wish, your money will be refunded.


All goods remain our sole property until full payment has been received by us, at which time title passes to you. You will be responsible for the care of the goods once you have received delivery of them.


When you order a new piece of furniture, we make this exclusively for you and aim to deliver within 30 days of date of order. Once we have completed your furniture, we will contact you, usually by phone unless otherwise instructed, to let you know and to book a delivery day directly with you. Deliveries to your address are weekdays unless arranged separately as set out above. We cannot give you a specific time, just an AM or PM slot. We can never guarantee a delivery date and accept no responsibility for any loss you may suffer as a result of receiving your order late. Orders or delivery dates are not of any contractual effect on Furniture Divas.


Guarantee of furniture

We will replace or where appropriate repair any goods that fail within 12 months of delivery by reason of faulty materials or workmanship, provided that you notify us within a reasonable period of the failure. We can only provide service to mainland UK addresses. Please note that we will charge you our reasonable expenses incurred in dealing with unfounded claims made. In all cases, remedies offered by us shall not affect your statutory rights or our statutory responsibilities. We will not pay for fair wear and tear or damage caused by negligence or improper use or damage that occurs as the result of repairs or alterations made without our approval. We will not pay for damage relating to your business. This guarantee applies to new furniture only.


Any used or ex-display furniture bought from us does not form part of our guarantee and is bought “as seen”. Where you have a complaint, please email us enclosing photographs in order for us to get as much information as possible. Please allow up to seven days for us to contact you. There is no extra charge for this guarantee.


Storage of furniture

It is our policy to deliver goods to you as quickly as we can. Delivery will normally take place within 7 working days. If you are unable to take delivery when our drivers are in your area then there may be a delay of up to four weeks. If you are unable to accept delivery within 14 days of your order being received into our warehouse, you will be charged £15 per item per week storage.



It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that goods will fit into their chosen location and to ensure that there is reasonable access for delivery.


Cancellation of Order - bespoke items made exclusively for you

Once you have placed an order with Furniture Divas it constitutes a legally binding contract. You do however have the statutory right to cancel an order. Should you decide to cancel an order for a piece of furniture we are making exclusively for you, then you must notify us no later than seven days after placing your order.

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to or by letter to Furniture Divas, 61 Conduit Road, Stamford, Lincolnshire PE9 1QL.


Should you decide to cancel between eight and 14 days from date of order then 35% of the value of your order will be charged. This will increase to 50% if you wish to cancel after 14 days of placing the order or if you wish to return the purchase after it has been delivered.


Returns and Refunds

Furniture Divas is very happy to send you a fabric swatch so you can check the exact colour before you buy and urges you to check the dimensions of the piece of furniture you are interested in before ordering.


If you wish to return your purchase, however, then you must let us know within seven days of delivery. As long as the item hasn’t been damaged and is in a fully resaleable condition, then we will give you a full refund (with the exception of a bespoke item that has been made exclusively for you - see above).


Furniture Divas will organise for the furniture to be collected but it must be in its original packaging or packaged well enough to ensure it is not damaged in transit and is returned back to us in a resaleable condition.


Furniture Divas retains the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed to be resaleable.


Please ensure that you check your items for any damage at the point of delivery. In the unlikely event of an item being received in a damaged condition, the customer must inform Furniture Divas within three days of delivery and a replacement or refund will be given.


Colour and finishes

Photographs and samples shown on the website are representative of the finished products. Whilst every effort will be made to match the colours and finishes, goods are supplied on the understanding that there may be slight dye, shade and grain variations, particularly with natural products such as wood.



Most of our furniture is hand built and every piece is unique. Therefore all measurements (which are given in centimetres) are approximate.


General notes

In accordance with our policy of continued product improvement, we reserve the right to amend the specification of our products or to discontinue products without prior notice. The prices advertised on this website are exclusive to Internet customers. We do not guarantee that our website will be compatible with all hardware and software which may be used by visitors to the site. This means that if one term is not considered to be legally enforceable, that will not necessarily mean that the other terms are not enforceable.
